Join our next event: a screening of Paper Lanterns, organized with the WTO's Trade for Peace: Future Leaders Initiative!
Paper Lanterns tells the inspiring true story of Mr. Shigeaki Mori, a Hiroshima survivor who spent decades uncovering the forgotten histories of 12 American POWs. His work fostered reconciliation and gave voice to untold stories of loss and hope.
We’ll be joined after the screening virtually by the film’s Director Mr. Barry Frechette and co-producer, Ms. Nobuko Saito, for an engaging discussion on remembrance, peacebuilding, and the power of acknowledgment.
Date: Wednesday, 7th May 2025
Time: 16:30 – 18:00
Location: IHEID, A2 Auditorium
Don’t miss this meaningful opportunity to reflect on peace and reconciliation through film!
